Trickl-Eez has been a pioneer in the irrigation industry since its founding in 1972 by John Nye, a horticulture graduate from Michigan State University with a vision for efficient and effective watering solutions. Inspired by the pioneering trickle irrigation systems developed in Israel, John saw the potential to revolutionize how crops were grown, starting with his family’s pear orchard in Royalton Township, Michigan.
The results were outstanding, and Trickl-Eez was born. John’s innovative approach included developing a patented electronic control system that precisely managed the flow of water and nutrients to specific areas of a farm. This commitment to precision and efficiency has been at the heart of Trickl-Eez ever since.
In 2016, the Ausra family, with their deep roots in agriculture and a shared passion for innovation, acquired Trickl-Eez. Today, we continue to build on John’s legacy, blending his foundational principles with cutting-edge technology to serve growers across the Midwest and Northeast.
